Low Voltage Swing Gate Operator designed for tubular steel, vinyl, wood, or ornamental gates for residential, farm and commercial use. The PRO4000XL is for single swing gates. Add the slave unit PRO4200XL for a double swing gate (below).

Drive

Powered by resilient 12 volt motor, 64:1 planetary gear drive system.
Temperature rating of motor: -30ºF (-34ºC) to +160ºF (+71ºC)
Opening time is 18-20 seconds
Range of arm stroke is up to 22" (56 cm), with arm fully retracted is 46.25" (118 cm), mounting point to mounting point

Power

The PRO-SW4000XL system is powered by a 12 volt DC/7.0 amp hour, sealed, rechargeable battery
Optional second battery fits in control box, used for solar applications or high traffic applications, if needed
Battery charge maintained by a 120V AC/60 Htz input, transformer rectified to 14 V DC through the GTO Control Board. NOTE: Transformer should never be connected directly to any battery
Optional GTO Solar Panel Charger: float voltage 14.5 V DC output from a 19-3/8" (49.21 cm) x 15-1/4" (38.74 cm) silicon alloy panel. Generates minimum of 10 watts at 600 mA. A gated diode on the control board prevents battery discharge

GTO Slave Operator for PRO4000XL only

GTO Pro 4200 swing gate opener

Add this unit to the PRO4000XL above and your system will operate a double swing gate up to 40' wide (20' each leaf). Burying the power cable directly across the driveway is fine. It can be snaked through conduit also. Cable is 1/4 inch diameter with a 1 inch plug on one end only.

NOTE: This operator will not work as a stand-alone unit. It is a slave unit without a control box and is meant to hook up to the PRO4000XL control box for use with a double gate.
